Lara Jean didn't expect to fall for Peter.
They had just been pretending. Except suddenly they weren't. Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
Then another boy from her past returns to her life, and Lara Jean's feelings for him return too.
Can a girl be in love with two boys at the same time?
The sequeal to Han's bestselling To All The Boys I've Loved Before.
To All The Boys I've Loved Before is not the first Jenny Han book I have read but I think I have to say it was probably my favourite. As much as I love her Summer series there is something so loveable and innocent about this story that I instantly found myself falling for it. I didn't think that there would be a sequeal to it as it worked well as a stand-alone, so when I heard about P.S. I Still Love You I was excited for another Han book but hestitant all the same. For any of you who are weary, like myself, at picking this book up, let me express how deeply I believe that you should go and buy it right now because this sequeal compliments the first in a way that has me falling, if possible, even more in love with the story. And no, I'm not just saying that because my review for book one is quoted in P.S. I Still Love You under my old site name Bookinity (Yay!).
P.S. I Still Love You follows on from where book one ends. It continues the story of Lara Jean's relationships with existing characters, and some new ones.
Lara Jean has to be one of my favourite female YA characters, mainly because I think she is so relateable. There is a lot of pressure on teenage girls to follow a certain trend these days but she doesn't fall to certain standards and instead lives by those she believes in. Even as she continues to grow in this book she sticks to her guns. I love that about her. She knows that she isn't perfect, she lets herself do things even though there's a possibility she could end up getting hurt, and she's in love with love. She's real.
As I quoted in my last review Han always has a way of making me fall in love witht the boys in her stories and, even though she takes those characters on a route you may not have expected, it definitely works and my love for her characters is probably stronger than ever. One thing that I definitely enjoyed as Lara Jean's story continued is watching her relationship with other characters devlope, such as Chris and Luca, and even Genevieve.
Han has outdone herself once again with her latest release P.S. I Still Love You and I really hope that a book three is on its way as these characters haves stories to tell and I cannot wait to delve deeper into them.
P.S. I Still Love You has everything you could want. Laughter, tears, love and romance. Praise Jenny Han, for she has done it again!
